Wiim ultra with fosi za3. Jan 26, 2026 · Hi guys, I’m thinking of trying out a Ifi Audio Zen DAC 3 with my Wiim Ultra and Fosi Audio ZA3 amp (bypassing the internal DAC of the Ultra). I have tried connecting the Ultra to the ZD3 by both Coax and USB, and the ZD3 to the V3 Monos by both XLR and RCA. The Ifi Audio Zen DAC 3 doesnt have optical connection though 😔. I've got the AMP volume at 100% and control the volume via WiiM Ultra (Roon). . Any recommendations for a good class D amp in the $300 range? Something better than the Wiim internal amp that I could pair with the upcoming Wiim Ultra streamer. Aug 1, 2025 · I have one wiim amp ultra and 2 Fosi ZA3 and was thinking of running those of the wiim amp ultra x 2 mono, but i didnt realize the wiim amp ultra couldnt send audio out of the Rca's so do i need a ZD3 connected to the wiim amp ultra or is there another cheaper solution?
